Yearly Special Student Activities at Canterbury Christian School

Yearly Special Student Activities at Canterbury Christian School

Several student activities are interspersed throughout the school year to introduce variety and a break from the routine.
  • Opera A La Carte visits the school each fall and integrates upper grade students into an age-appropriate dramatic presentation. Last year they presented Cinderella and this year The Elixir of Love.
  • Jack Pearson also brings his wholesome and delightful musical entertainment to the students during the first semester.
  • November 1 always finds students and staff dressed up for the school’s enjoyable All-Saints’ Day Parade!
  • During the second semester, Goodness Snakes Alive! brings an interesting variety of reptiles to the school for a highly popular time of exciting hands-on learning.
  • Bach-Wards Day and International Day are also enjoyed during the spring.
The members of RTS (Raise the Standard) – Canterbury’s student government – also sponsor creative and fun activities for the student body, including Water Day and other team-building events during Spirit Week near the end of the school year.
