Welcome aboard! The Kindergarten class is often visited by various community helpers throughout the year. A community helper can be defined as any person who helps with our health and overall well-being.
Students learned about airplane and travel safety with a special visit from a flight attendant.
Dressed in her red flight attendant uniform, community helper Julie visited the Kindergarten class to share about her role in helping passengers board and safely travel to their scheduled destinations.
Students also lined up their desks for their own mock version of an “in-flight service” with special snacks and drinks.
Teaching kindergarten students about community helpers is an important unit and one all our students (and teachers!) enjoy.
